Description

Steel Coil Cars are specialized freight cars designed for carrying rolls of sheet metal for industrial use. Early examples first debuted in the 1960s, and today the cars are a common sight on freight trains across North America. Bachmann's 55' Steel Coil Car features removable coil hoods with detailed cradles beneath and six "steel coil" loads.
