1966 Distance Running News July *rare* early Runner’s World
- This is a super rare early Runner’s World. It was the 2nd month that came out.
-
- Distance Running News was created in 1966 by high school student, Bob Anderson. Bob had 2 issues printed in 1966, 4 issues in 1967, 4 issues in 1968, and 4 issues in 1969. Distance Running News changed its name to The Runners World and eventually Runners World in 1970. Very few issues of the early Distance Running News were originally made. Unfortunately, not many probably survived the decades. These rare issues are high in value and would be a great addition to any collector.

- These magazines are full or great photos, advertisements, articles, and statistics from some great years in track and field and cross country.
-
- I am a high school cross country coach. We have a running library. When I get doubles I sell them off to make some money so we can buy books we don't have. I try to list these at a low enough price that you can get a great deal and give us a quick sale.
-
- All of the magazines I sell are not perfect. They have the wear you would see in a magazine with years of use. I will try to take as many pictures as I can to show any flaws. Please ask questions if you have any.
-
- I have 1000s of running magazines and I can't list them fast enough. If you have a certain year and issue that you are looking for I would love to help you complete your collection. I will list any running magazine that you need at a low price if you just let me know what you need.
-
- If you happen to have any TFN magazines from 1948-1955 we are looking for them. If you have any distance running news magazines or long distance log magazines or distance running journal magazines that you would be willing to sell us please let me know.
-
- I will combine shipping if you buy more than one item in the same day. I do try to ship out within a day.
-
- Thank you for helping our team out by buying a magazine.
