The mirror is in perfect working condition along with auto dim and compass features.  If your vehicle currently has an auto dim mirror and you want to add the compass option, you just need to but the current plug or tap the two wires onto the current plug for power.  The plug has a 7 pins inside and to mount and un-mount the mirror by slide up and down and secure with a screw.  Please check to make sure your car mount is this kind of style...  Let me know if you have any questions.  

This mirror has two wires that require to connect to any 12v power source from the overhead or fuses box.

  The auto dimming will darken the mirror automatically when the cars behind you or on the side is too bright or with high bean as well as cars from opposite direction with to bright headlight or high bean.  It will then clears back to normal when the brightness reduce from cars  in front or behind automatically.
