The PiezoBarrel P9 was developed for trumpet in collaboration with Master Trumpeter, Schilke Artist and Grammy Award Winning jazz musician Darren Barrett.  The pickup has a crisp warm sound.

The P9 Pickup pickup allows trumpet players to take advantage of electronic effect pedals or just get some extra volume.  Whether you want to bring down the house or just let people hear a different side of your music, this pickup is for you.  You have the freedom to move away from the microphone and still be heard consistently, use foot pedals for loops, or harmony effects, or perhaps just to add some atmosphere to the performance.  With a pickup you can sound like a trumpet .. or not, or perhaps just show people another side to the trumpet.

NOTE: Some countries (including the US, UK, and countries in the EU) charge import duty and/or other taxes on imports, paying these costs is the responsibility of the buyer.   As of August 29, 2025, duties and taxes will be collected by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) before goods enter the country.  Currently PiezoBarrel has enabled a shipping option for US customers  using using Interparcel/UPS as Australia Post has currently suspended parcel deliveries to the US.  UPS will collect the US Tariffs and any other related charges from the recipient.  If tariffs are not paid, parcels will be returned to the sender at an additional cost to the sender resulting in an order refund minus shipping costs.
