| Der mouSTer ist ein Gerät, das den Anschluss einer beliebigen USB-Maus (nicht nur ps/2-Protokolltyp ) an möglichst viele alte Computer ermöglicht. |
| Das Projekt zielt darauf ab, so universell wie möglich zu sein, damit es mit der Zeit möglichst viele Retro-Computer unterstützen kann. |
| Die Firmware ist in ständiger Entwicklung. |
| Im Moment werden folgende Retro-Plattformen vollständig unterstützt: |
| - Atari ST/STe series |
| - Atari Falcon |
| - Amiga 500 / 600 / 1000 / 1200 / 2000 / 3000 / 4000 |
| - 8-bit Atari series – XL/XE |
| - Commodore C64 / C128 |
| Es unterstützt auch fast alle USB-Flash-Laufwerke (config dump and upload), Playstation 4 Controller und fast jede USB-Maus. |
| Aufgrund des schlechten Stromausgangs der DB9-Ports in alten Computern , könnten alle |
| Mausgeräte mit vielen LEDs und zusätzlicher Elektronik nicht funktionieren . |
| Technisch gesehen unterstützt mouSTer diese Geräte, aber es gibt einfach nicht genug „power” um sie zu betreiben. |

| The mouSTer is a device that allows connecting any USB (not ps/2 protocol type only) mouse to as many old computers as possible. |
| The project aims to be as universal as possible, meaning, with time, it will support as many retro computers as electronically possible. |
| Firmware is in constant development. |
| At the moment the following retro platforms are fully supported: |
| - Atari ST/STe series |
| - Atari Falcon |
| - Amiga 500 / 600 / 1000 / 1200 / 2000 / 3000 / 4000 |
| - 8-bit Atari series – XL/XE |
| - Commodore C64 / C128 |
| It also supports nearly all USB flash drives (config dump and upload), Playstation 4 controller, and nearly every USB mouse. |
| For obvious reasons, all those mouse devices with lots of LEDs and additional electronics might not work |
| due to the poor current output of DB9 ports in old computers. |
| Technically mouSTer supports these devices but there simply won’t be enough juice to power them. |
