Antique British Table Bell with Putto and Oval is 5 inches tall and the bell has a diameter of 3 1/8 inches. In researching this bell it seems the Putto is a type of cherub with his arms around a coat of arms to protect it. Family owning this coat of arms is not known but is thought to be Spanish Clergymen or church. Manufactured 1900-1930. All metal. Red bell has wear on the outside and on the yellow painted inside. Looks like there may have been some sort of lettering on the inside of the bell, but I could not make it out. Putto or cherub is solid black. Good antique condition.
