Horseradish is a very hardy perennial plant that grows to 1.5m high, if you plant them in a raised bed you will get a bigger tap root that is easer to dig. It tolerates damp soils and grows vigorously. It does well in temperate & warm climates,

Plant the cuttings in a well prepared bed

 10mm deep in a full sun position. Keep moist but not wet.

Small cutting are 2-3mm diameter & 10cm long, see the photo 

Medium cutting are 4-7mm diameter & 10cm long, see the photo

 Big cutting are 7-14mm diameter & 10cm long, see the photo.

 The plant top will grow the fastest of all.

The photo of the bare root plant is what can be expected from a large cutting, it was planted in late november & dug mid June.

 On 31/12/2019 my house, 4 tractors, shed & about 7/8th of the nursery was destroyed in the Black Summer Bushfire & Cobargo was described as a Hell Fire

The 1/8th that was not burnt was where I irrigated on the Monday, the day before. Yes it is as Chalk & Cheese as that.
