Here we have a stunning thin-walled mocha decorated cup and saucer.  Both cup and saucer are finely molded and decorated with an engine turned black and white checkerboard pattern, blue glaze bands and finely molded fluting.  The cup and saucer both have a rounded side and raised foot ring.  The cup measures 2 ¼” in height by 2 ¼” across the rim, and the saucer 4 ¾” in diameter.  The cup is in near mint condition with only a tiny flake on the underside of the foot with no other damage or repairs, the saucer is in original mint condition.  This is an extremely rare and desirable piece of mocha ware that would enhance and be highly prized in any collection.
