The Meat Hunter Flex ("Slingshot") rods are available in both casting and spinning. All models in this series feature very light tip and the powerful Sumo flex spiral fiberglass blank in Yellow, Black or White color. Some casting models feature trigger reel seats, and all utilize stainless guides and tip for trouble free durability. The bait flex tip allows easy layout of all popular catfish baits while providing unbelievable backbone power. This rod is built to perform with catfish

***This particular Flex spinning model is built with the narrow blank wrapped handle, very popular among hybrid fisherman. The narrow handle is preferred for use in types of boat rod holders.*** Meat Hunter rates flex rods as heavy action but with the lighter tip we rate it as a Medium Heavy action.

Casting rods have smaller line guides for a top mount reel normally a large baitcast reel type. Spinning rods have large line guides for a bottom mount open faced spinning reel.
