A fine sculpture Khmer Bodhisattva multi-arms deity figure of Avalokitesvara, an iconic manifestation of the Bodhisattva figure, Avalokite'svara as the bodhisattva who can take the form of human or non-human. It's superbly executed in traditional of Angkorian, his face has a serene with closed eyes, arched eyebrows carved in relief meet in the middle above a well-shaped broad nose, and wide lips with an insipid smile are recessed at the corners, his hands hold Buddha and lotus flower.
The head is covered in tightly braided hair woven in horizontal rows, ornamented by miniature Buddha figures, enhanced by a cylindrical-shaped ushnisha, adorned with a sanctuary at the front, and topped by a lotus flower finial. The fragment is presented in its unaltered condition, with detailing of the features clearly visible, a relatively smooth surface, and a naturally aged patina, deep covered in molted variations of hues and colours as maintained.
