It is common for the teeth of the plastic drive gear to become damaged in the VW EOS sunroof motor. This is caused by insufficient lubrication of the inner and outer sunroof rails.
This drive gear is a direct replacement for your damaged gear. VW does not supply replacement drive wheels.
Please note that the sunroof rails MUST be lubricated prior to replacing this drive gear or the error will persist.
To fix the problem it is recommended to remove the sunroof, clean and replace the sliders, cables and guide tubes before installing any of our repair gears.
