Hosco Rim Coordinator Rod Set Mastertone Long Nut Style
This Hosco Dual Rim Coordinator Rod Set is in the long nut style found on vintage Mastertone banjos, the long nut makes adjustments easier.
The Coordinator Rod Set is used to stabilise the rim and mount the neck. The adjustment nut is only found on the bottom rod to make very minor action adjustments (the rod closest to the strings is not adjustable in length). The rod closest to the strings/skin has an overall length of 250 mm, and the rod closest to the belly has a total length of 248 mm without the extension nut. The extension nut can be adjusted to add additional relief or increase tension on the rim/neck, it has an overall outside length of 34 mm. These coordinating rods enable you to make needed adjustments to your Mastertone style banjo.
