This listing is for a vintage Weltklang tenor saxophone mouthpiece. These were made by the German company Wagner. This piece was probably made in the 1960's, or thereabouts. There is no facing number indicated, but the actual tip opening is .085" (equal to an Otto Link 5*). It has flat/undercut inner side walls with an arch top chamber. It is made of hard rubber, not plastic.
This is a streamline (or slimline) style mouthpiece, meaning it is quite a bit more slender than a typical tenor sax mouthpiece. Thus, a special ligature is required, and this one does include its original single screw ligature, which fits like a glove.

This mouthpiece is in excellent used condition. It could almost pass for brand new! The facing is perfectly smooth, and original. There are no tooth indentations (or even scratches for that matter) on the beak.  There is no scuffing/scratching on the exterior. The rubber is still black and shiny. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized.

The original ligature is also in excellent condition. It has not been bent out of shape or otherwise damaged, and the screw works properly. The original plastic cap is also included, and also in great shape, with no cracks or other damage.

Please feel free to email me with any questions.
