The Euro Performance Hardwire Kit allows you to power your radar detector and/or dash camera directly from your vehicle’s rearview mirror using a plug-and-play, OEM-style connection. This eliminates the need for complex wire routing, fuse taps or interior disassembly. Most importantly, a clean look and no more hanging wires.

NOTE: If your vehicle is between 2008 and 2011, the type of adapter you need depends on which options your car has. You will need to remove the cover behind the rear-view mirror and verify if the connector is 6 or 8 pins. Then select the appropriate adapter during checkout.

VEHICLE
- The kit connects to your vehicles rearview mirror where it sources power for your devices.
- All hardwire kits are plug-and-play, designed to connect directly to the factory wiring located behind the mirror.
- Vehicle integrity and warranty is maintained, no invasive cuts, splices or fuse taps, fully reversible back to stock if needed.
- The kit is designed to reliably provide power to both radar detector and a dash camera simultaneously without any issues.
- All connected devices will automatically power on when the ignition is turned on and power off when the ignition is turned off, will not cause any battery drain.
-The rearview mirror does not have constant power, therefore it is not possible to use these for Parking Mode with dashcameras. The kit will not provide power while the vehicle is off.

RADAR/DASHCAM CABLE
- Cables provided are specific to your devices and will have the appropriate plug to connect to each device.
- Each cable will provide the appropriate power needed for the device to work properly.
- Cable length is minimum 20 inches (50 cm) for each cable.

MUTE BUTTON
- Optionally, a button can be added to the hardwire kit.
- This option adds an external button, when the radar detector is alarming and the button is pressed, the radar detector will be silenced.
- This option is available for most Escort and Uniden radar detectors. It also works with Cobra Scout model, does not work with any other Cobra model.
- The small foot print allows it to be placed anywhere in a discrete location and out of view using the included double sided tape.
- The button measures 0.7 x 0.7 x 0.24 inches (18mm x 18mm x 6mm).
- The cable is available in two lengths, 3 feet (90cm) or 10 feet (3 meters). The shorter 3 foot button can be located near the radar detector or the rearview mirror. While the 10 foot cable allows the mute button to be placed further away, such as the dashboard or center console.

Installation

- Hardwire Kits can be installed by anyone in matter of minutes, install time is about 10-15 minutes for most people.
  • Simply remove the cover behind your rear-view mirror.
  • Locate the factory rearview mirror connector and disconnect it, connect that plug to the hardwire kit and then connect the other end of the kit to where the factory connector was connected.
  • Route the cables as desired and connect to the radar detector and/or dash camera.
  • Re-install the mirror covers and you're all done!

Due to many variations, some items may take up to 3 business days to ship, although we strive to ship items the same day. Orders placed after 4PM Central Time will generally ship the next business day.

Shipping
We ship worldwide, if you need an item shipped internationally and eBay shows that shipping is not available, message us, we will work with you to get you your product.

Warranty
All hardwire kits are covered by a 6 month warranty from time of delivery. We will repair or replace a defective kit within the warranty period. Contact us first before sending any merchandise back.
Return shipping will be provided only if the item shipped is not as described or there are defects in the manufacturing of the kit.
Installation costs by buyer or 3rd party is not covered by the warranty.

Returns
Item(s) can be returned within 2 weeks of delivery for full item refund. Original shipping charges are not refundable and will be deducted from original purchase price. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.
All returned items must be complete, uninstalled and in brand new condition.
