Description: 

Self-amalgamating tape is a highly conformable, self-fusing, EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) based, high voltage splicing tape. A non-vulcanizing, shelf-stable tape with excellent electrical properties. Can be used as an insulation for low-voltage applications as well as an insulation for splices up to 69kV. 

Applications: 

Insulation protection of the end or middle connections of wire and cable between 600V - 69kV and on the environment temperature between -10°C and +80°C, insulating sealing for communications cable connections, pipeline protection, remedy and sealing. Properties: Environmental, high tensile strength, good self-fusing and excellent electrical performance

Remove separator from the tape, elongated to 200% of its original length. Take continuously half-overlap circles in three or five layers or to the thickness needed, apply another one or two layers PVC electrical tape around the outer layer of EPR self-fusing tape for protection.
