See photos. This listing is for 2 hot wheels new in package where Mattel screwed up. Especially the gold one. Look at the card. It says "1980 Corvette". Anyone who knows Corvettes knows the C4 was introduced as a 1984 yesr model in early 1983! A 1980 corvette was the C3, completely different generation. The green one is more correct with the card title "80s corvette". However looking under BOTH of these we see the further error Mattel made, of copyrighting both of these in year 1982. GM kept the C4 under wraps in complete secrecy right until its introduction in early 1983. They wouldnt have allowed Mattel to produce this model until 1983 and its unlikely Mattel even knew what it would look like.

The copyright date can be debated but the mistaken year of the gold car is a clear mistake like the post office printing upside down airplanes.

Both are new in unopened packages that have some wear from storage over the years. See photos. Its unknown how many of the gold corvettes are out there but I dont think anyone has caught this mistake yet.
