A red popcorn. Red corn, also called strawberry corn or Zea Mays, is a purely ornamental plant. The plant grows to a height of 1.3 to 1.5 meters and bears a red cob up to 10 cm in size. The corn cobs are ideal for arrangements and bring color into the autumnal living room. In contrast to “normal” corn plants, strawberry corn cannot be used as a windbreak in the garden.
