Vintage Diamond Point Pressed Glass Footed and Lidded Candy Dish/Sugar Bowl

I believe this candy dish is really 2 pieces that did not originally go together.  The base looks like photos I've seen online of the base of a fairy light with the diamond point pattern.  The lid looks like it may have the pineapple pattern from anchor hocking.  I'm not positive about either suggestion.  The candy dish came to me this way in a box from an estate sale.  They fit perfectly together so I decided to keep them together.  :)  

The candy dish with lid is 5" tall.  It is 3.5" in diameter. 

Unless otherwise stated, all used/pre owned items have age appropriate wear.  Examine all photos closely.  Zoom in and look at each photo so you know what you're purchasing.  Photos are a part of and the best description of this piece.
