Gotoh Locking Posts & Bushing Set for GE1996T Double Locking Tremolo (Black)
This high quality Gotoh Double Locking Tremolo Stud & Bushing Set is made from steel and is the same as the parts that come stock with the highly regarded GE1996T tremolo. The posts have their patented stud lock system, once the height of the post is set for your desired action you can insert a 1.5 mm Allen key/hex wrench into the post to tighten a smaller screw inside the post, this smaller screw extends out the bottom of the post to push against the body bushing which locks the two parts together, this is one of the most popular features of the Gotoh GE1996T and original Ibanez Edge and Lo Pro Edge tremolos (which Gotoh also made with the locking studs). The height of the post is adjusted with a 3 mm Allen key/hex wrench (wrenches for the height adjustment and locking screws are not included).
Please note the Floyd Rose Original and Schaller Floyd Rose double locking tremolos use a different thread size and so the posts will not screw into the Floyd Rose/Schaller body bushings.
