Up for sale is an original Vintage Black & White Art Lithograph from a tailor showing the latest clothing designs. Copyright 1907 by The United States Sample Book Company, Philadelphia for Custom Department, Winchester Clothes, New York.
This unique fine art lithograph served as a design from their 1908 Spring & Summer collection. Size is approximately 19 x 14 1/2. This lithograph highlights fashion #677 thru #686.
This lithograph shows a man in the middle from he thighs up. He is surrounded by different Dress Vest Designs. There is browning and staining to the print, particularly at the edges. Heavy browning along the top edge and the right top edge. There is some lighter browning within the area of the image. There is wear and chipping to the edges. There are some larger chips missing from the right edge. There is a larger tear on the bottom right edge and the bottom of the right edge (See photo #2).
On the back is where the different choices for the original fabrics were glued. The fabrics are no longer there, only glue stains and some fibers remain. It is taped and fraying on the left edge where it was originally bound.
A great show piece for anyone, especially the collector, designer or decorator. This is a fantastic art print of patterns from the day and will look very nice framed!
This is Print #10 of part of a set of 13 different black & white vintage clothing design art lithographs we will be selling from the same collection. Please email with questions and see my store for other great items.
