The LVL 3A hard armor insert is the thinnest and lightest ballistic plate under IRON ARMADILLO®, with a thickness of only 0.3 inches. Constructed from high-strength ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and paired with a waterproof shell, it is well-suited for concealed wear or use as a backpack insert. This ballistic plate can withstand close-range direct shots from popular calibers, including 9mm and .357 SIG.
