Very rare book - original, NOT later fascimille.  We were able to locate information about the second and fourth readers, but no indication of other first readers with this title being offered for sale. 

Many black and white line drawings throughout. See photos of our book. In good condition. Student's name is written inside front and back cover. No other extraneous markings. Quite a few pages have fingerprints or other small stains, not affecting the text or pictures. Binding is solid and no tears were seen. The last three pages have descriptions of and ads for other books.
