Vtg 1950s  authentic Japanese 100% Silk Damask Foral Design Dress, Size Small, Light Caramel Nude/Beige Color. The label on the dress says "Japan - 10 - Pure Silk", and the size is a Small according to its measurements. The pattern is reminiscent of a pixelated flower, so it seems both modern and vintage. There are 3 matching floral buttons on the center bodice, 2 buttons on the cuffs of each sleeve, and a beautifully designed button closure on the front of the belt. The bodice has a V-neckline with collar. Measurements are:  Bust: pit to pit across chest - 19", waist 27", hips 36".  Sleeves - from shoulder seem to end are 17-3/4" long, ending with a 2-1/4" wide cuff.   There is a 9" side zipper for closure. Skirt length from waist to hem 27", with an 8" kick pleat in the back. This adorable authentic Japanese vintage dress is in excellent condition except for two small stains on the left sleeve which appear to be from ink, and could be removed by a professional dry cleaner. One spot is V-shaped on the back of the left sleeve, and another tiny blue spot on the front of the sleeve.
