Product Overview

The Midbrass Water Hammer Arrestor is an effective way to stop banging pipes
when valves or outlets are closed suddenly. It is very simply fitted as it
attaches directly onto washing machine valves with its 3/4"M-3/4"F compression
fittings. This can also be easily adapted elsewhere in the home. Installed
within 1.5m of the problem source, the issue of banging pipes will be
resolved, providing continual protection from water hammer or pulsing damage.
Install instructions Can be fitted vertically or horizontally. Fit female hose
thread onto your washing machine shut-off valves. Install washing machine
supply hose onto the male thread outlet of water hammer arrestor. Hand tighten
connections and use a wrench to tighten an extra 1/4 turn. Do not overtighten.
Important:- A pressure reducing valve should be installed before the hammer
arrestor for any systems exceeding 60psi (4 Bar) pressure.
