This large, circular box (lidded bowl) is from the kilns of Jingdezhen, China.
It was made in the late 1800's. 
The character on the top reads "long life."
The sides are fluted, with the brilliant colors of bright blue and sea-green.
This bowl is both beautiful and practical. 
It can be used today as it was over 100 years ago.

This piece is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks, repairs.
