Back in the 80s & 90s i worked in the music industry at record companies to touring with artists and working at historic venues. Along the way as bands were coming up i would be given and sent these bands promos & demos in hopes of advancing their careers all before they were famous. I would also obtain advance copies of said bands material when they were in semi final and final mix status prior to official releases at the time. In addition I collected a bunch of music / art related prints. These are some from my private collection.
This is the EXTREMELY RARE GWAR SKULHEDFACE Comic Book! This was the very first edition & FULL legnth comic by this LEGENDARY group that i had the privilege of touring with my band as the opener and stayed friends with Dave Brockie for decades to come after and even staying at his place in Richmond when i tour managed Buzzoven a band also from the same town. Buzzoven had their power shut off due to us being on tour for months so when we got back and had no electric we crashed at Dave's for a couple days..he was a GREAT GUY and i will always miss him and his LATE NIGHT HOTEL INSANITY!!!!
