Purple amaranth Oeschberg 

Latin name: Amaranthus cruentus cv. Oeschberg

Its huge purple inflorescences can provide up to 200-250 g (7-9 oz) of light seeds per plant. Very productive. 

Its purple-green leaves can be used as vegetable, as well.
