Delightful knitting pattern for 18"/19" Girl Dolls EASY KNIT Faux Fur hooded Jacket and skirt.
Hooded Jacket knitted in Faux Fur Wool. (I used Red Heart Las Vegas as it was reasonably priced but any Faux Fur wool that knits to a tension of 9sts and 14 rows to 2 inches will work).
Skirt knitted in double knitting wool. (from your stash!!)
Designed with the novice knitter in mind but quick to knit up for experienced knitters too!
18"- 19" will fit Gotz, Design-a-Friend, American Girl, New Sindy.
Knitted on size 4.00 mm and 3.50 mm needles.
This Jacket is knitted in one piece from the base up. Sleeves are knitted in with the body of the jacket.
It's easy to knit in stocking stitch. Hood added by picking up stitches around neck when body is completed.
The skirt is also very easy to knit in rib. Knitted in one piece with shaping for the waist and one back seam.
Great to use up wool from your stash! Jumper takes one 50 gram ball of Faux Fur wool, skirt takes 50 gm double knitting wool.

My Grand daughter loves her 18"Girl Doll but she finds the fabric clothes cost too much to buy from her pocket money, (and difficult for little fingers to put on and take off!), so she asked her 'Knitting Nanny Mo' to design and knit some for her. This is such an easy pattern you can quickly and easily knit up multiple sets in all sorts of colours to the delight of your little one. I hope you enjoy knitting this outfit as much as I did!
