Listing is for
a regular season (year 2000) ticket stub for the football game between Notre Dame (host) and Texas A&M (guest). This ticket stub is for a regular season game to begin the 2000 football season with the game played in South Bend, Indiana. These two teams had somewhat of a natural rivalry going with one another because they faced each other in the Cotton Bowl game in 1988, 1993, and 1994; but this stub is not a Cotton Bowl stub.
Under Coach R. C. Slocum the Aggies lost this regular season opener on the road, 24-10. (This was the season where at the end of the season Texas A&M went bowling in the Independence Bowl against Mississippi St., and Notre Dame faced Oregon State in the Fiesta Bowl.)
If the college football fan needs a ticket stub between Notre Dame and Texas A&M, here is one that is 23-years old and is priced very reasonably.
