This is a group of 27 paper toy soldiers, probably published by McLoughlin Bros. (one of the figures appears in an earlier book of toy soldiers published by McLoughlin) and released during WWI, as some of the figures are identified as generals in that war (Pershing, Foch, Diaz), and the equipment depicted matches that used during the conflict. There are American, French, British and Italian troops included, some in dress uniforms, and several "Rough Rider" era U.S. uniforms. Condition is Very Good Plus; one rider is missing a portion of his whip, and a couple of the soldiers have pencil notations, usually on the reverse. These are all one-sided, with a tab used to enable them to stand up. Exceptional condition and extremely scarce! Please see my other "Attic" listings.
