This is a very rare genuine Hobart "I" series heavy duty 30 quart reducer stainless steel wire whip for the classic series of Hobart mixers 60, 80 and 140 quart sizes when used with appropriate reducer ring and bowl.  The wires are heavy gauge stainless steel and the base is made of cast iron with a tin plate coating.  The whip is very heavy and weighs nearly 10 pounds.  

This heavy duty wire whip new from Hobart is part number 00-295163 and sells for $1,408.45 plus shipping and sales tax.
