This is an original paper mache mask. A bunny rabbit paper mache mask I created. It is brand new and original. It took two weeks to complete
using many layers of paper mache. This has ended up being my most
popular item with customers that I make them throughout the year in
advance so I always have a few on hand at any given time. This is so
customers don't have to wait while I make them. I ship out within 24
hours payment.
This cute bunny measures approximately 11.5 inches (length) by 9.5 inches (width) painted with Acrylics and a top
varnish. A 3/4 mask.
The cheek fur is faux fur. I wasn't going to add
fur to the ears and eye brows, but thought I'd use a little insinuation
for extra character. The brows and ear hair are individual pieces so
some will still be flying off, and some stuck down using hot glue. The
cheek fur are two separate pieces. An elastic band to wear around the
face. Both kids and adults can wear this mask. One size fits all.
Very light weight at around 4.5 ounces. Measures: 11.5" by 9.5" approximately.
This
originally was something I made for Halloween, but quickly realized
customers were buying them throughout the year as wall-art. So you can
use these masks as wall-art (just tighten the included elastic band on
the back) and hang. Also use it for Mardi-Gra, Carnivals, Kid's Party.

Note: I never use real animal fur for any of my projects. I use Faux fur.
The mask is unique and entirely handmade. Created from a form of clay and gradually handcrafted with paper, water and glue, painted and finished piece by piece.
This type of creation method is called paper mache. It is a popular way to create a mask or any other prop with some interesting properties. For example, the masks are lightweight, durable, water-resistant, flexible, hard to damage and more!
