Vintage B&W photo of Boy Scouts standing in front of a gas station. The location of the gas station and the identity of the Boy Scouts are unknown. The gas station may be a Champlin Petroleum Company gas station based on the logo on top of the gas pump in the photo, although it’s difficult to tell. The exact age of the photo is unknown but may be from the 1940s-1950s based on the dress and appearance of the Boy Scouts and the timeframe that the Champlin Petroleum Company was in operation. The photo measures approximately 2 1/2” x 3 1/2”. Estate sale find.
The photo appears to be in very good vintage condition with signs of wear and age, such as fading, yellowing, scratches, scrapes, abrasions, creases, folds, wear along the edges and corners, and a couple of small stains near the upper left corner. The is a general “bend” to the photo. The photo is marked “02” on the back.
