This is an absolutely stunning Old Mine Cut Diamond, Natural Sapphire and Pearl, Platinum and Gold Antique Art Deco - Victorian Wedding Engagement Ring. The oval panel design in Platinum is gorgeous. In the center of the ring is a sparkling Old Mine Cut Diamond. On either side of the diamond are two rows of 10 natural mined square cut Blue Sapphires of vivid color. The ring is further adorned with Pearls on either side of the diamond and at the ends of the ring. These pearls are most likely natural pearls. The radiant blue of the natural sapphires with the sparkling diamond and the surrounding pearls in the platinum setting create a period jewel of the highest quality. The jewels are set in Platinum atop 16 Karat Yellow Gold. The ring is hallmarked with the French owl hallmark. The antique ring is one of the most beautiful period rings we have seen.
