Supplied as two x double sided PCBs, TSSOP one side, SOP the other, this adapter, has the standard 2.45mm pitch and 0.3" (7.62mm) DIL spacing and is suitable for all 8 Pin SMD packages meeting TSSOP, MSOP, SO, SOP and SOIC P 1.27 & P 0.65mm specifications.

It has been designed for use with standard 0.1" prototype boards, through hole PCB's, as well as a direct replacement for the equivalent pinout DIP ICs.

To allow unrestricted working access, the header pins are not fitted but are included with the item.

After the SMD has been soldered in place, to ensure accurate fitting, it is strongly recommended that the header pins are inserted into a 0.3" IC socket before soldering them to the PCB.
