These items ship USPS Priority to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other US Territories (if eligible). A word about Media Mail Has the longest delivery times. Normally transits by truck within the contiguous United States and—sometimes-- by ship to over-water locations such as Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other US territories. Media Mail (economy) is the last to be loaded in the trucks, handled the roughest and is the only mail subject to opening. Media mail has at times taken six weeks to reach Puerto Rico and at one time took about three weeks to transit to Alabama.
