The aFe 53‑10001R Quantum Pro 5R Cold Air Intake System is engineered to unlock additional airflow and performance in Dodge Ram 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500 trucks equipped with the 5.9 L I6 Cummins turbo diesel engine from 1994 through 2002. Featuring a unique integrated filter‑to‑housing design, this intake simplifies installation and filter access while delivering increased airflow and improved throttle response. The Pro 5R oiled cotton gauze radial‑flow filter offers excellent filtration performance and is washable and reusable for long‑term service life.
Designed with a roto‑molded, CAD‑tuned intake tube and a flexible silicone bellows coupling, this intake system resists heat soak and engine movement while maintaining a secure, direct bolt‑on fit. All necessary couplings, clamps, and hardware are included for a straightforward, no‑modification install. Please note this intake is **not CARB exempt** and therefore **cannot be used in California or other states with CARB requirements**. Fitment is confirmed through 2002 for supported Dodge Ram Cummins diesel models.
