Product Description

Turbosmart's Kompact EM Plumb Back Valve brings the world's first truly plug-and-play blow-off valve upgrade to the shared BMW N55/N13 turbo platform, engineered to simply unplug and unbolt the factory valve and install this one in its place -- no adapters, hoses, or extra assembly required, all while retaining complete OE control via the factory solenoid signal.

As a Plumb Back design, this valve recirculates 100% of the compressed air charge back into the intake tract rather than venting any to atmosphere. That keeps unmetered air away from the MAF sensor, so factory fueling stays accurate -- a genuine advantage over dual port or vent-to-atmosphere valves. The tradeoff is a quieter, more OE-like note rather than the audible "pssh" of an atmospheric valve.

Billet construction with a Boost-Balance Valve Design seals better the more boost it sees, paired with a positive seal O-ring that prevents the leakage common with worn factory plastic valves. Patent-pending pressure control reacts 57 times faster than a blink of the eye.
