Product Description

The Borla 140017 is the legendary S-Type Classic cat-back exhaust system -- widely known as the "Stinger" -- for the 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette C5, including the Z06. This system replaces everything from the catalytic converters back with 2.5" mandrel-bent T-304 austenitic stainless steel piping feeding into Borla's patented straight-through multi-core mufflers, delivering up to 10 horsepower and 11 lb-ft of torque while producing the deep, aggressive Borla exhaust note that has made it the most popular C5 exhaust on the market. The S-Type Classic strikes a balance between raw aggression and daily livability -- louder than the Touring muffler but with minimal drone at highway speeds.

Dual 4.5" round rolled angle-cut polished stainless tips exit at the rear for a clean factory-integrated appearance. The entire system is constructed from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel -- superior to 409-series and aluminized alternatives -- ensuring long-term durability against heat and corrosion.
