This bar is not only lightweight but also extremely strong We have designed this bar using a double-butted technique which allows us to reduce weight whilst still maintaining strength. We have replicated the design of our RIOT titanium bar into a chromoly steel version with amazing results. By butting the tubing to be thicker in the high-stress sections and thinner in the low-stress sections, we created a lightweight bar that has the obvious cost advantages of titanium, but also less flex than titanium. Lining up a scooter wheel to your bar is a tedious task. By adding a laser etch mark, the problem is solved. All Triad & Oath products have this time saver bar alignment system.
