Dutch Oil Painting Country Landscape w/ Farmer Plowing Field by Jan Knikker Jr.

Here we have a beautiful oil painting of a "Country Landscape with a Farmer Plowing His Field" by listed Dutch artist Jan Knikker Jr.  Signed lower right "J. Knikker Junior".  Jan Simon Knikker was born on 8th February 1911 in Leiden (NL) and died in 1990 in The Hague (NL). He was the son of listed artist Jan Simon Knikker Sr. (1889-1957). The artwork is housed in a new Dutch style black and gold frame. The entire piece  measures 18" by 22". The artwork itself measures 12" by 16". It is in excellent condition with some slight undulations in the canvas. A charming work that would complement any decor.

Shipping weight, well packed, is 9 1/2 lbs. Insurance has been added to the shipping cost as per Ebay's mandate.
