Description: Betadine® Surgical Scrub contains 7.5% povidone iodine and is an antiseptic, bactericidal, virucidal, sudsing skin cleanser. This microbicidal cleanser promptly kills a broad spectrum of pathogens. It is used for hand hygiene, surgical hand-scrubbing, and topical preparation of patient's skin prior to surgery. Contains detergents so this product must be rinsed off. Supplied as either a 16 oz or 1 gal bottle.

Directions: Surgical hand scrub - wet hands with water, pour about 5 cc (1 teaspoonful) of Scrub on the palm of the hand and spread over both hands. Without adding more water, scrub thoroughly for about five minutes. Repeat. Patient pre-operative skin preparation - after the surgical area is clipped, wet it with water. Apply Scrub (1 cc is sufficient to cover an area of 20-30 square inches). Develop lather and scrub thoroughly for about 5 minutes. Rinse off using sterile gauze saturated with water.

Cautions: Not for use on food producing animals.
For external use only.

Storage: Store at 25°C (77°F): excursions permitted between 15°-30°C (59°-86°F).
Store in original container.

Ingredients: Betadine® Surgical Scrub contains Povidone- odine (7.5%) - equal to 0.75% available iodine. Also contains ammonium nonoxynol-4-sulfate, nonoxynol-9, purified water, sodium hydroxide.
