The Busch 9607 is an HO scale (1:87) building kit for a concrete barracks, modeling standardized prefabricated quarters for the enlisted men and NCOs of the former East German (NVA) border troops. It reproduces the distinctive prefabricated concrete construction very realistically, with covered stairwells on both ends of the building and finely detailed gutters and downpipes.

Introduced from the mid-1960s, these large-block concrete type-buildings appeared at many barracks sites across the GDR; after reunification, buildings like these often found new uses as commercial premises, student dormitories or accommodation. Excluding the stairwells, the completed Busch 9607 measures 8-3/8 x 4-7/8 x 4-1/4 in. (212 x 123 x 107 mm) and pairs with matching items such as vehicle hall 9608 and column road 9620.
