-Description: This is the original artwork for the 2-22-1959 Sunday comic strip DIXIE DUGAN by John H. Striebel.  Dixie is concerned that she's putting on some weight and needs to hit the gym and go on a diet.  Ma Dugan thinks the svelte Dixie is just caught up in the current dieting fad but does her best to discourage late night fridge-raiding.  A cute gag nicely rendered by Striebel.  BBL

-The art is in good to very good overall condition.  The board has some vertical creasing (it may have been rolled or folded for shipping); the most pronounced crease is in the center.  Otherwise minor to moderate age/handling wear.  Tape residue and pencil notes to reverse.
