It is believed that the original gauntlets were made in Milan Italy between 1370-1400.These gauntlets feature brass accents with an acorn motif and are based on an original artefact held in the Museo Nazionale del Bargello, Florence. The gauntlets include a leather glove and are made from 16 gauge steel.
