Southern Sound Records 7-inch 45 RPM single No. NR-16309 is "(Feels Like) I'm Bustin' to Pieces" and "Feel Good Woman Blues" by the Thornhill Band. The labeling is very amateurish, and possibly ambiguous, but both songs were written by L. Fox and copyrighted to Rainbow Bee Publishers, of Knoxville, Tennessee. L. Fox and Jim Thornhill are respectively named under the song titles, possibly crediting them as the vocalists. And, for reasons unknown, the name "John Little" appears on both sides above the spindle hole and below the name of the band. It's very interesting musically, the A side being country, the B side more like country blues.
It looks to be in about VG to VG+ condition, still beautifully shiny, but with some visible surface scuffs and scratches. It plays through without jumping or repeating on my Audio-Technica turntable, but with varying degrees of background noise, including some occasional pops and clicks and ticking. Because of variations in tracking ability and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well it will play on your equipment.
