All suits are mint in their sealed package.  All suits are NEW old stock from 2010, except the 2XL Regular, they are from 2012, given their age the buyer assumes all risks with the use of this item*** As I was taking measurements of the different sizes I inspected the rubber gloves and face seal, the rubber was in good condition, still soft, stretchy and pliable, however there was light oxidation, and so there is a greyish hue on the once pitch black rubber face seal.

SIZING GUIDE: How to measure your size. Please follow the instructions below to find your size. Then compare your measurements to the ones given in the “Suit Measurement Chart” below to find the size of Blauer suit that will fit you best.

MEASUREMENTS:

A. Chest Size
Place tape measure around fullest (largest) part of the chest and over clothing keeping it up under arms an around the shoulder blades. Number of inches is your size, HOWEVER, do keep in mind that since you will need free comfortable movement in these suits it is recommended that you add roughly 10” more to your total Chest size to ensure a comfortable fit while working.

B. Sleeve Length
Hold arm chest high, bent slightly at elbow. Measure from bottom of collar at center of back around elbow to far end of wrist bone. Given that these suits have attached gloves there may be a bit of a variance depending on your hand size.

C. Waist
With the Blauer suits the waist size is not that important because there is not much difference between the waist and chest measurement, so you only need to adjust your size if your waist is bigger than your chest size, then use your waist size as the chest size.

D. Inseam
Measure inseam from base of crotch seam to the top of the shoe to be worn. Number of inches is your size. Or take a pair of pants (not jeans) that fits you well. Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the pants. Given that these suits have attached booties there may be a small variance depending on your foot size.

E. Torso Length

1.    1. Place the tape measure on one shoulder, near the neck, and allow the end of the tape to fall loosely down your back. 

2.     2. While holding the tape by your neck with one hand, take your other hand and reach between your legs and grab the loose end of the tape and thread it between your legs, up the front of your body and back to your starting point by your neck.

3.     Take the measurement. This is your “Torso Length”. Remember since these suits are used for activity add at least a couple or more inches to your Torso Length measurement to ensure a comfortable fit in the suit, otherwise the suit may crawl up your crouch and make you uncomfortable.

Measurements taken from the actual suit:

• NFPA 1994 Class 3 (2018 Ed.) Certified: For use in terrorism incidents involving low levels of vapor or liquid chemical hazards where concentrations are below levels immediately dangerous to life or health
• NFPA 1994 Class 4 (2018 Ed.) Certified: For use in terrorism incidents involving biological or radiological particulate hazards only where the concentrations are below levels immediately dangerous to life or health
• Lightweight and form-fitting for excellent mobility
• Breathable barrier fabric allows heat and sweat vapor to dissipate away from the body for greater comfort and extended wear time (up to 8 hrs.)
• Front-entry design allows for self-donning if necessary
• Integrated glove system and booties eliminate the need for chemical tape
• Approved for use with tactical-style boots
• Rugged GORE® CHEMPAK® Selectively-permeable fabric and extra-strength seams allow for safer operations in demanding tactical and patrol situations
• Machine washable for multiple uses if not grossly contaminated

DEPLOY FASTER, STAY ENGAGED LONGER
You need to be able to respond quickly in the event of a CBRN or potentially hazardous chemical threat and remain engaged in the mission as long as possible without risking your safety. Wearing Extended Response Team (XRT) suits made with GORE® CHEMPAK® selectively permeable fabric, you can respond faster because the suits are quick-donning and do not require any additional taping. In addition, the fabric's breathable construction allows you to remain on duty for up to eight hours, and its durability gives added confidence about CBRN protection. During a recently documented wear trial, the suit stayed intact after being subjected to various rigorous physical activities for eight hours.

The integrated bootie system has allowed this suit to be certified with breathable leather boots, providing superior mobility during tactical and mass-incident responses.
GORE® CHEMPAK® Selectively Permeable Fabric
Liquid-proof and air-impermeable, this barrier fabric allows perspiration vapor to escape freely out of the fabric to reduce heat stress while providing limited protection against toxic industry chemicals (TICs) and chemical warfare agents (CWAs).
