One of a series of pins sold to cast members only during Disneyland's 40th anniversary in 1995. Each pin represented an attraction that was no longer there by 1995. This pin features the retired attraction "Flying Saucers" it depicts the "Saucer." The ride was round car which was a cross between bumper cars and hover crafts, which floated above the ground. The Classic Disneyland card which came with this set reads as follows: "Truly state-of-the-art in technological terms and a nightmare in operational terms, the futuristic Flying Saucers found a home in Tomorrowland in 1961. A cross between bumper cars and hovercraft, the Saucers floated on a 16,000-square-foot arena of air generated by four 1000 HP motors. In 1966 the attraction was retired during construction of the New Tomorrowland  This was a Cast Member only pin in a series called "Classic Disneyland." It also comes with an informational trading card which is the size of a baseball card. The back stamp says: "© Disney." Brand new set pin.
