The placement of the control box on the down tube as well as the wires underneath the crank housing are exposed to brush, rocks, water and other foreign objects that can cause damage.  The effort to prevent damage is best accomplished by installing this skid plate, The plate has two rubber bumpers that rest on the crank housing which creates a tunnel of protection for those critical wires and controller.  Includes the stainless steel hex head bolt to fasten to the frame and stainless screws that attach the bumpers to the plate.
