Vtg Womens Detachable Sailor Collar Red Paisley Concho Modest Fichu Church Lady
In good used condition. I can see some smudges on the under layer, and a faint stain on edge (both layers). See photos. Odor free. A solid item.
Cute detached sailor-style collar in a bold red with bright paisley prints. Back width across shoulders is 21.25 inches. This is a one-size item without tags, which is slipped on over the head. In the photos, it is displayed on a size 4 mannequin. As you can see, it is quite large on her. The center "bow" is actually just a drape, which passes through the loop where the concho is. See picture of the separated drape.
To me it looks similar to things I would have seen people wear to church in the 1980s.
I think that if you chose to wash this, it would be best to do it by hand and then iron it. It has a crisp, never-been-washed hand. Material unknown, but feels like a cotton or cotton blend.
